Bandilngan Gorge (also known as Windjana)

Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park

This gorge is located about 2hours north west of Fitzroy Crossing – within the Windjana National Park

The area is a popular tourist destination and can be easily hiked through in the dry season. The gorge has permanent waterholes and don’t be surprised to find yourself walking next to the local Freshwater Croc’s that frequent the area. Travellers are also able to see fossils of shells and other marine creatures on some of the rock walls.
