Named after famous local wildlife, the Brolga and Jabiru rooms are our fabulous River View Studios.

Enjoy the enhanced privacy of these semi self-contained studios surrounded by natural bushland and wildlife whilst overlooking the mighty Fitzroy River. Enjoy a refreshing drink in your spa or cook on your balcony using your private barbeque.

You will be amazed at the beautiful sunsets, the proximity to native Australia, and just how easy it is to enjoy life in the Kimberley.

Suitable for the entire family on that long trip or to the corporate long-term guest, our Self Contained Rooms have all the facilities you might require for your stay. Large bedrooms with ensuites, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, a couch and dining tables.

These rooms look out over natural bushland or the tennis court, and can sleep up to six people in fully air conditioned comfort.

Recently refurbished, these rooms offer every conceivable comfort from home. Available as double or twin share with ensuite, all with airconditioning, colour TV and free in house movies, ISD & STD telephones, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus undercover parking.

Room service is available from 6pm to the motel rooms from the Bar menu. Wheelchair access facilities are available if required, featuring a spacious room with a ramp and accessible bathroom. Please inform reception if you require this type of accommodation.

The Boab rooms are the latest addition to be added to the Lodge’s range of accommodation. These rooms are modest in size and are situated a leisurely stroll from our reception, bar and restaurant.

All rooms feature a double bed, ensuite, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, colour TV and laundry facilities.

For a real holiday with a difference, try our Safari Lodges - it's like camping out, but with most of the luxuries of home still at your fingertips. This inspirational alternative gives you the outdoor feel without losing the things you need from the indoor life.

Every lodge has solid floors, canvas sides and a shaded timber deck. Ensuite facilities boast hot water and windows are covered with insect screens. The tent also has an evaporative water cooler, refrigerator and tea & coffee making facilities. These tents can cater from one guest to a family of four.

The Safari rooms are ideally suited to corporate stays with a difference, or to the "luxury camper".

The Fitzroy River Lodge has extensive camping areas with both power and unpowered sites, and a common wet area for all your bathroom and laundry needs (including coin operated washing machines and dryers). These modern amenities include disabled facilities.

The Lodge supports 110 caravan bays, both powered and unpowered, with large shaded areas, concrete roads and grassed bays. There are also shelters for coaches and safari camping groups.

Our camping and caravan facilities are provided as combined services, and the camping grounds are ideal for backpackers. Please note that we do not take bookings for the camp ground. This is purely a walk in, first come, first served basis.
